Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) is an independent agency that serves guarantee bank deposits in Indonesia. This body was formed under the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of the Deposit Insurance Corporation established on September 22, 2004. This law became effective 12 months after enactment, so the establishment and operation of DIC begins on September 22, 2005.Every bank conducting business in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia shall be a participant guarantee LPS.
