Pethrophysicist

Lowongan Kerja Kodeco Energy

Kodeco Energy Co., Ltd. is the operator of the West madura Production Sharing Contract (PSC) in Indonesia and is engaged in oil and natural gas exploration and exploitation. Established in May 7, 1981, Kodeco began its first activity in 1984 and was successful in introducing gas production to East Java with the completion of the Gas Pipeline Project in 1993.

Korea Development Co., Ltd., a sister company of Kodeco Energy, is the operator of the Poleng Technical Assistance Agreement (TAC) established in 1993. It is located next to the PSC contract area. The PSC and TAC share production facilities and current oil production of 14.000 bopd and gas production of 92 mmscfd are maintained through offshore facilities located Northwest of Madura Island and are supported by an onshore base and gas receiving facilities located in Gresik, East Java.

New developments, including KE-40, KE-30, KE-32, KE-38, KE-39, KE-54, and Poleng Fields, and facilities will contribute substantial increases to the Company’s current oil and gas production capacities. Petrophysicist
Position Summary:

Participates in the determination of logging requirements and directs logging operations in assigned field. Checks quality of log data, analyzes and evaluates well log and core data in order to establish the presence of oil and gas and assists in calculating amount of hydrocarbons in the reservoir. Maintains Petrophysical Data Base. Carries out Petrophysical field studies in order to help formulate reservoir models required for establishing Full Field Development Plans, and assists in monitoring production performance throughout the life of the field.

Requirement:

- Minimum of a BSc in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Geology is required.
- 5 years experience in doing Petrophysical.
- Competencies Technical:
› Must have a thorough understanding of open hole (both wire line and LWD), cased hole and production logging tools, NMR and integrated production logging in deviate and horizontal wells.
› Strong background using probabilistic ELAN software on UNIX and IP PC-based software for preliminary analysis and generation of summary tables.
› Experience in carbonate reservoirs.
- Competencies Structural:
› Must have strong teamwork skills. Be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff, and management.
› Knows health, safety and environmental policy, procedures and objectives related to his area of responsibility, and ensures that they are effectively implemented in his domain.
› Experience working in integrated asset team environment.

1. G & G (2 Position)

Responsibility:

Provide structural interpretation related 2D seismic at attribute analysis, seismic survey design and seismic stratigraphy for effective achievement of geophysical operation.
Organize and monitor seismic acquisition and processing project.
Complete seismic interpretation of 2D seismic to final time and depth maps:
Assist in final exploration and development well selection including completion of prospect wet reports both pre and post drilling.
Compile data and attend meeting concerning geophysical activity reporting to government.
Assist in contract preparation and bid evaluations.
Make technical presentations to both owner and partner company representatives.

Qualification:

Bachelor Degree in Geology from Reputable University.
2-3 years Experience in Oil and Gas especially in seismic Interpretation, and subsurface evaluation.
Familiar with Petrel
Experience in drilling is preferred.

2. Petrophysicist (1 position)

Responsibility :

Perform QC of electrical logging data including wire line sampling and imaging
Interpret of electrical logs for reservoir related rock properties and CBM presence and saturation. In accordance with industry accepted guidelines.
Calibrate of results to other geological data.
Interpret and statistical summaries of archived logging data.

Qualification:

Bachelor Degree in Geology from Reputable University.
2-3 years Experience in Oil and Gas.

Incumbent must have in-depth experience in oil and gas reserves estimation and assessment, production development and investment decision analysis (or economic evaluations) that incorporates risk and uncertainty.

Oil & Gas Production / Planning Specialist

Familiar with IESX and/or Seiswork including CPS3 and/or Zmap.
Strong knowledge, skill, and interest in petroleum system evaluation and regional geology interpretation.
Experience in various seismic inversion and multi-attribute analyses is preferable.

SENIOR GEOLOGIST (GEO-2)

Bachelor or Master degree in geology.
Minimum 7-year experience in interpreting wide variety of geological data for petroleum system evaluation, risk assessment, and/or new venture analysis.
Strong knowledge, skill, and interest in prospect generation work, sequence stratigraphy, and regional geology interpretation.
Familiar with Zmap or CPS3 and basin modeling softwares.
Experience in interpreting 2-D or 3-D seismic data is preferable.
Experience in various seismic inversion and multi-attribute analyses is preferable.

SENIOR OPERATIONS GEOLOGIST (GEO-3)

Bachelor degree in geology.
Minimum 7-year experience in wellsite operations activity of exploration and development wells.
Strong knowledge, skill, and interest in geological operations and drilling work.
Familiar with mud logging operations and wireline logging job.
Familiar with software for basic log analysis and generating completion log is preferable.
Experience in various drilling wells: HPHT Well, Horizontal Well, Directional Well and LWD, is preferable.

PETROPHYSICIST (GEO-4)

Bachelor or Master degree in geology.
Minimum 3-year experience in evaluating various wireline logs and performing
Petrophysical analyses of sandstone and/or carbonate rocks.
Strong knowledge, skill, and interest in integrating wireline logs and petrophysical data for reservoir modeling and exploration prospect analysis.
Familiar with Crocker, Geolog or other petrophysical software is an advantage.
Experience in various seismic inversion and multi-attribute analyses is preferable.
