Job Description :
The role
To maximise revenues through the commercial management of Group Bedroom & Meeting Room Sales we are currently recruiting a Diary Manager with the following job tasks:
- To ensure a clear sales strategy is in place for demand & that it is communicated to the group sales team.
- To constantly review the MAR and ensure that there is parity to the selling strategy with bedrooms revenue management
- Ensure top producers for meeting rooms are monitored & reviewed in order to action any shortfall / growth & communicated to the sales manager
- To constantly review business
- Analysis & reporting of actual performance vs plan & forecast identifying trends that will impact future performance
- Analysis & reporting of actual performance vs competitor set
- Ensure future strategies are aimed at the optimum business mix to maximise yield
- Ensure the team have a full understanding and keep them updated regularly
- Ensure the C&I team have the skills and knowledge to carry out their responsibilities
- Incorporate C&I Revenue Management within the overall Revenue management strategy
- Experience required The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role, ideally in a large conference venue for a minimum of two years. You will have a proven track record of successfully managing the optimisation of function space.
