Senior Head of Engineering & Construction (Expatriate)

Within its Exploitation Department to manage the engineering and construction resources to support the operation of approximately 100 offshore facilities in the South East Sumatra offshore block.

The responsibilities of this position include participation in the development of strategy, implementation and execution of offshore brownfield modifications and new build facilities. The incumbent will identify the training and resource requirement for the project management team, oversee the key areas of discipline engineering including design code and legal compliance and the implementation of sound engineering practice. He or she will also coordinate the tendering, award and execution of major engineering and construction contracts, oversee the management of onshore fabrication sites and offshore construction resources, quality control and the enforcement of QHSE compliance to CNOOC SES s Policies and Procedures.

The position is based in CNOOC SES s office the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, Jakarta. Regular visits offshore will be required to monitor progress and perform Safety Inspections. The incumbent will also be required to provide assistance in the monitoring of the performance of non-operated joint ventures. Assignments in other CNOOC operated PSC areas in Indonesia, either onshore or offshore, may also he required.

Qualifications :
  • University degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and at least 15 (fifteen) years experience in the offshore petrochemical industry, of which at least 6 (six) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity, either in an operator or in a major contractor.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Adaptive, able to work under pressure, proven able to demonstrate initiative and strong problem solving capability.
  • An in-depth knowledge of QHSE standards and best practices and able to apply this in an operational environment.

University Degree (S-1) in Engineering preferably in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Management (Production or Operations Management) with 3-5 years working experiences in Oil and Gas Industry especially in handling inventory, warehousing and materials turnover.

Scope of work:
  • Reviews record for accuracy of information and compliances with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock level.
  • Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records.
  • Recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records.
ADMINISTRATOR ASSET MANAGEMENT (Code: AAM)
University Degree (S-1) in Industrial Engineering or Management/Accounting with 3-5 years working experiences in Oil and Gas industry especially in Material Knowledge, Material Accounting Systems and Following Up Mechanism.

Scope of work:
  • Collects, compiles and recommends information or specifications of company asset and material, including surplus, dead or obsolete inventory items for Write-Off and Disposal.
  • Follows up Material Transfer Request from/to other PSC until the transfer completed.
  • Develops Write off Proposal (FUPP) in coordination with Stock Analyst and User Department and follow up with Government bodies.
  • Complies and updates factual company asset on regular basis upon the Write-Off programs, in coordination with Office Management and Material Accounting.

SUPERVISOR CAMP/CATERING SERVICES (CODE: CS)
Degree in S1/D4/D3 in Tourism and Hotel: Hotel or Catering disciplines with 3-5 years working experiences in hotel/ catering Industry or University Degree (S1) from Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering with 3-5 years working experiences in Oil and Gas industry especially in Camp Services Including Accommodation/Lodging, Catering, Industrial Hygiene/ Nutrition, Laundry, House Keeping, Gardening, Building Maintenance & Contract Administration.

Scope of work:
  • Supervises, coordinates, inspects, monitors and controls accommodation for employees, contractors and guests
  • Supervises, coordinates, inspects, monitors and controls all activities related to catering services
  • Supervises, coordinates, inspects, monitors and controls all activities related to maintenance of building, facilities and other Infrastructures in Camp.
  • Supervises, coordinates, inspects, monitors and controls all activities related to QHSE programs in Camp.
  • Supervises & coordinates activities of sewage treatment plant to comply with government regulations
  • Conducts regular satisfaction survey of the services every three (3) months
  • Supervise & coordinates activities of incinerator, composting and garbage handling including hazardous waste handling
MARINE INSPECTOR (Code: MI)
D4 degree with at least ANT II or S1 in Marine Engineering with 8-10 years experience, especially in oil & gas industry. Knowledge in IMO regulations and HSE regulations is a must.

Scope of work:
  • Inspects vessel or boat and other supporting systems regularly including, prior hiring and after maintenance or break down/dry dock within HSE & technical/engineering aspects.
  • Prepares report od findings in marine transportation & its supporting facilities & observing of its workers.
  • Investigates marine accidents.
  • Updates & revisits SOPS of HSE subjects in marine and transportation. Maintains & updates all permit related to Marine Operations & HSE requirements. Prepares all correspondence to Government bodies concerning operation of FSO & terminals.
  • Involves in preparation of marine and transportation in SOW, Technical Specification & HSE requirements.

CNOOC SES, Ltd (Oil & Gas) - Chief Well Intervention / Senior Geologist / Geophysicist / Drilling / Reservoir Structural Engineer, Economic Analyst

1. CHIEF WELL INTERVENTION ENGINEER (Code : CWIE)
Cooperate with Business Unit petroleum engineers in the work program preparation, provide service activities for business units and drilling department to achieve oil production and profit target and recommend alternative technical solutions to efficiently establish exploitation strategy in order to maximizing oil recovery.

Personnel Qualification : University graduate in Engineering (preferably Petroleum Engineering) with a minimum 10 yrs experience in Oil and Gas Industry and familiar with general drilling operations, artificial lift, production engineering, reservoir engineering, and well completions in particular.

2. SR DRILLING ENGINEER (Code : SDE)
Responsible for dedicated drilling well files, post-well reports, offset well study, design wells, AFE estimation, and preparation of the most cost-effective and practicable drilling procedures.

Personnel Qualification : B.S. Petroleum Engineering or Related engineering field. Minimum 7 years of diversified petroleum industry experience in drilling, completion and workover activities.

3. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (Code : SE)
Develops new-build offshore structural designs, structural modifications to existing facilities, and detailed design documentation that is in compliance with international standards and CNOOC’s QHSE requirements.

Personnel Qualification : University degree in Offshore or Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 years experience in structural engineering/offshore construction.

4. SR. RESERVOIR ENGINEER (Code : SRE)
Functions as a professional (advisor to management) in reservoir engineering and project economic with expertise in reservoir simulation.

Personnel Qualification : BS/MS degree in Petroleum Engineering. Minimum 7 years experience in the Exploration activities.

5. SR. GEOLOGIST (Code : SGL)
Reviews and evaluates the new bid exploration blocks offering, the “Farm-in” opportunities offering. Technically evaluates non-operated property s proposed exploration and development wells. Investigates exploration potential in CNOOC for management’s decision by doing the well data interpretation, key layer maps, cross sections, and calculation of hydrocarbon deposits within the structure. Overall analysis of the petroleum system.

Personnel Qualification : University graduated in Geology.- Experiences in generating exploration prospects, generating and proposing development well prospects, overseas job training, and working in other basins. Knowledge in Petroleum Geology, Structural Geology, Seismic Interpretation, Sequence or Seismic, Stratigraphy, Log Evaluation, Risk Analysis.

6. SR. GEOPHYSICIST (Code : SGP)
Interprets seismic data and collaborate with geological; and petrophysical data to get subsurface structure and reservoir distribution map and creates associated attributes using many method to do reservoir characterization in the field.

Personnel Qualification : University graduate Geophysics/Geophysical Engineering or related fields geophysics. Minimum 7 years experience in the geophysical study.

7. SR. ECONOMICS ANALYST (Code : EA)
Provides supports related to all kinds of project economics and statistics to all Departments, maintains economic model up-to-date, studies historical operating costs to determine unit costs to be used for better with operating costs projection.

Personnel Qualification: University degree preferably Petroleum Engineering Minimum 7 years diversified experiences in Reservoir Engineering, O&G operations, Risked Petroleum economic evaluation
