water&stone is web development and online marketing company focused on the use of open source technologies. Our specialization is the design and development of websites using open source content management systems (CMS), including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and Magento. While our efforts focus on the web, we also provide services for a variety of other purposes and media, including corporate identity and print media.

water&stone was founded in Bangkok, Thailand in 2003 by partners Ric Shreves and Nalisa Sitabut. The offices are now located in Bali, Indonesia where we employ a mix of designers, programmers and content management professionals. While some of our clients are in SouthEast Asia, we also work with many clients in the U.K., Europe, Australia, and North America. We service our overseas clients by taking advantage of some of the best strengths of the Internet: The ability to provide platforms for collaboration and the ability to unite geographically diverse audiences. We not only encourage clients to employ technology to help them solve their business problems, but we also do it ourselves.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate to work on our team as a full time Designer.

Designer

Requirements:

• Must have good English skills and be able to read and understand briefs prepared in English.
• Candidate must be fast learner and must be able to work well as a team player.
• Able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Ability in contemporary and minimalist design
• Understanding of web usability and accessibility an advantage.
• Able to use Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, PhotoShop, Flash, and Dreamweaver
• Candidate must be fast learner and must be able to work very well as a team player.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in web design industry or with at least 20 websites in portfolio.
• Print design skills and understanding of printing techniques a plus
