Compact Metal Industries Limited. The Group's principal activities are manufacturing aluminium windows and doors and supplying aluminium related products. The Group also undertakes aluminium architectural contracts, engineering works and sub-contracting building construction projects. Other activities include investment holding. The Group operates principally in Singapore and Malaysia invites applicants for:

Factory General Manager
(Sumatera Utara - Based in Medan, Indonesia)

Responsibilities:

• To head an aluminium extrusion manufacturing plant of 300 staff & workers:
  • To oversee daily operations of the company which includes
    
  • Directing and coordinating the managerial and supervisory staff
    
  • Smooth running of administration and HR functions
    
  • Liaising with the management on finance and cash flow matters
• To liaise with anchor customers on sales and delivery matters
  
• To improve the company bottom line through managing productivity, purchasing and production costs
  
• To report to the management, on a regular basis, on the performance of the company and business development

Requirements:

• University Degree in Business Admin or Engineering
  
• Possess good leadership with sound organization & managerial skills
  
• Experience in aluminium manufacturing plant will be an added advantage
  
• Able to write and speak good English. Able to speak Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malay/Indonesia
