Grand Kemang Hotel Jakarta, managed by Restyle International is looking for young, highly motivated and goal-oriented candidates as:
Executive Chef
Responsibilities:
- Training and managing all kitchen staff
- Supervising and coordinating culinary activities
- Estimating the food cost consumption
- Making food purchases and requisitions
- Controlling food cost budget
- Developing and selecting the recipes to be used
- Standardizing the production of recipes so as to ensure the guests are offered quality at all times
- Updating the trend of food to meet the guest satisfaction
- Establishing and maintaining the techniques of food presentation
- Establishing and maintaining food quality standards
- Planning and pricing the menus
- Ensuring that all kitchen equipment works and is maintained properly
- Ensuring the kitchen is always safe and sanitary
- Deciding on the food portions to be served
Requirements:
- Male
- Good knowledge and skill in management strategy and analysis
- Good leadership skill with quality of developing people
- Hard worker and ready to work on flexible hours
- Honest and high integrity
- Dynamic and energetic
- Creative and open minded for improvements
- Fluent in English (oral and written) or other foreign language is preferred
- Diploma or degree in Food & Beverage from recognized in Hospitality/ Tourism/ Hotel Management School
- At least 3 - 5 years experience in similar position at 4 or 5 stars hotel
