MINE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Reporting to the Mine Develoment Manager, the position will assist the manager in returning feasibility studies as to viability of developing new Coal Mining projects and there associated infrastructure in Indonesia. The initial focus is on Coking Coal Projects located in Central Kalimantan
The studies cover a broad scope and involve the design and costing off :
Mining operations, Coal Processing plant, Power stations, Mine site infrastructure such as workshop and warehouses, Accomodation and Offices, Haul roads and bridges and River Port facilities
Although not directly involved in the design process, the position will assist in the preparation of the design scopes, the supervision, administration and review of outputs being undertaken by the design consultants. A high degree of emphasis is placed on safety in design and environmentally friendly design. As such, exposure to a large corporations HSEC in design processes will be well regarded. The position will gain exposure to all facets of Projects engineering and a such would be an ideal development role for someone with the ambition of becoming a Project or study manager
To be considered for this role, you should be a qualifies engineer and have at least 5 years of post graduate experience. Exposure to previous project management roles including design, project controls and construction supervision on large projects will be highly regarded. you should be fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, be proficient in the use of computers and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
