SENIOR CONTRACT ENGINEER

Reporting to the Project Control Superintendent, this highly important
role will be responsible to:

• Develop and administer contracts and tender process.
• Ensure that contracts are developed according to BHPB standards.
• Develop templates for contracts and purchase order conditions.
• Assist the development of procedures in contract area.
• Provide inputs on contracting strategies.
• Administer contractual risks.
• Maintain close liaisons with contractors/vendors/consultants and
  others with respect to contracts and purchase orders.
• Attend site (short period trips).
• Monitor review and compilation of contract documents.

To be successful candidates the person must have 5-8 years experience in construction contract with some exposure in EPCM project. The successful candidates must possess an S1 degree in Engineering, other related S1 degree is also considered. Knowledge in risk management is
also required.
