MERCY CORPS - Fund Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Mercy Corps is an International relief and development organization based in Jakarta, is looking for qualified Indonesian citizens to join its new microfinance programming. All positions are based in Jakarta and require strong English language and computer skills. The positions, qualifications and requirements are :
Fund Manager
Fund Manager
- S1/S2 degree in management/financial or related subject preferred
- Ability to develop, market and manage grant funds for microfinance institution related to ratings and management information system
- Minimum 3 years experience in program management or grant management related to microfinance with vendor management experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement fund administration, to oversee review process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of funding to MFI’s and partners and to maintain a database related to grantees and their performance areas is preferable
- Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to market fund to microfinance institutions and vendors
- Knowledge and understanding of financial statement and financial reporting is a must
- Demonstrate an ability to provide administrative leadership and stewardship for large-scale programming for multi-country implantation
- Willingness to travel throughout the project areas
- Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically
- Fluency in both verbal and written English and Indonesian communication to include strong report writing skills
- Demonstrated high standards of professionalism stewardship objectivity, discretion, sound judgment and attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and corporative with team members
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
- Minimum S1 degree in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years working in a professional environment with microfinance or financial services background
- At least 3 year experience working in monitoring and evaluation, preferably related to financial services activities
- Experience working with local or international NGO
- Ability to demonstrate ME&E skills both in qualities and quantities methodologies and to provide demand driven M&E tools
- Candidate with an understanding of statistic and ability to summarize, generalize, predict from large data set, ability to conceptualize, plan and implement program activities creatively, as well as the ability to analyze data and utilize lessons learned for the continuous improvement of program implementation and promote a culture of learning if preferable
- Comfortable in training an supervisory role
- Multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills are necessary
- Computer skills with strong familiarity with statistical software and database system are mandatory
