PT Madhucon Indonesia, has started open cast coal mining in Indonesia on a 100 acres site initially. We expect to mine about 3 lakh tonnes production by December 2007. The coal has higher calorific value and less ash content compared to domestic coal.
Sales Manager
(Kalimantan Timur, Sumatera Selatan)
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager and based in Indonesia, he will be responsible for meeting domestic and export sales targets. He will negotiate, document and administer off-take agreements, establish a sales book and develop a full suite of commercial documentation and standards. In order to achieve his objectives, he is expected to develop and grow long term relationships with customers, negotiate tenders, make client quotations/ proposals and record & maintain client contact data. In due course he will also be called upon to expand the sales team and establish processes and procedures to administer, appropriate level of controls.
Requirements:
This is a fantastic role for a self motivated, autonomous employee who has developed 5+ years experience in a similar role with strong sales experience in the coal sector. This is a challenging position that will require excellent customer service skills, a drive for success and strong interpersonal, communication and sales skills. The candidate will portray a charismatic attitude and bring a portfolio of previous coal clientele gathered through past relationships, which will enable him to hit the ground running! The remuneration package on offer includes a competitive salary and a commission structure linked to performance. Candidates with a flair for foreign languages (preferably Mandarin) will have an distinct advantage.
