MEC CoalMEC Coal - MEC (Minerals. Energy. Commodities), in partnership with the government of Ras Al Khaimah, have established MEC Coal to develop one of the largest green field coal mines in Asia, located in East Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. MEC Coal, through its Indonesian subsidiary PT Tekno Orbit Persada, has thermal coal resources of Approx 1.5 - 2 billion MT with an upward potential of an additional 2 billion MT within East Kutai regency of East Kalimantan province.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Position Purpose:

* Provide personal administrative support and assistance to Vice Chairman and other executive office team.

Experience:

* The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, and flexible.
* The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

Accountabilities:

* Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings
* Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications on behalf of the Vice Chairman
* Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
* Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail as necessary
* Arrange travel, hotel, and car reservations and prepare itinerary, both corporate and personal for the Vice Chairman.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor Degree
* Proficient in English
* 5+ years experience as Executive Assistant supporting at the executive level
* Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management
* A high degree of organization, excellent written and communication skill, organization, professionalism, good telephone etiquette, discretion and excellent customer relation.
