PT XL Axiata Tbk. ('XL') was established on 8 October 1989, under the name PT Grahametropolitan Lestari. Its main business was in trading and general services.

Six years later, XL took an important step by setting up a partnership with Rajawali Group -a shareholder of PT Grahametropolitan Lestari - and three foreign investors
(NYNEX, AIF and Mitsui). Its name was changed to PT Excelcomindo Pratama, with the provisioning of basic telephony services as its core business.


XL commenced commercial operations in 1996, primarily covering Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya areas. This made XL the first private company in Indonesia to provide
cellular mobile telephony services.

XL is now leading the industry as a cellular telecommunications provider with extensive coverage throughout Indonesia. It provides services for retail customers
and offers business solutions for corporate customers, including voice, data and other value-added mobile telecommunications services. XL operates its network with
GSM 900/DCS 1800 and IMT-2000/3G technologies. XL also holds a Closed Regular Network License, Internet Service Provider (ISP) License, Voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) License, and Internet Interconnection Services License (NAP).


Strategic Vendor Partnership, a new strategic unit under Strategic Partnership and Procurement Division (formerly Procurement and Logistic), is developed mainly to drive alignment between XL and strategic partners/major vendors in order to build, maintain, and enhance stronger and more beneficial relationships; and also to constantly create value out of the partnership.

Currently, we are fulfilling the resource who will act as partner to top level management in managing strategic partnership.


Product Design & Regional Integration Specialist (PDR)
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:

  • Define product strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop core positioning and messaging of the product.
  • Act as project coordinator in various marketing campaign.
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability target.
  • Collect, process, and analyze data regarding the product in relation to Gross/Net Add, Churn, customer base, and revenue.
  • Ensure alignment of overall business strategies and common goals with customer experience and service agreements.


Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Have knowledge and experience in SQL/Oracle.
  • Strong presentation and communiation skills.
  • Knowledge in telecommunication product and business.
  • Understand telecommunication general market condition.


Innovation-Partnership Specialist (IPS)
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:
The XL Innovation Lab is looking for a commercially-savvy Local/ Global Partnership Specialist to build and strengthen our relationships with Indonesian Internet content and communication players, including Internet sites, application developers, major retailers, utilities and entrepreneurs and also with the world’s major communication and content players, including the likes of Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Facebook and Skype.
Through industry scouting and partner interaction the partnership specialist will shape the roadmap of XL Innovation. This role will manage all commercial activities between XL Axiata and a range of Indonesian players. Essential to the role will be the ability to run a program to support and develop and select players to partner with XL for launching ideas and services to the Indonesian market.
The partnership specialist will also help define new product opportunities, shaping and channeling initial concepts through to product and planning teams and managing the commercial negotiations and terms for joint products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, supported by strong business development experience in a relevant sector – telecoms, IT, management consulting.
  • A proven track record of managing strategic relationship and delivering high profile agreements between telecom and Internet players.
  • A strong network of partners across the Indonesia Mobile and Internet market.
  • A thorough understanding of the telecoms and internet industries, including good knowledge of mobile products.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint Access). 
  • Fluent in English.


Strategic Business Transformation Partner (SBT)
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:

  • To lead facilitation efforts for the strategic initiative project team, including challenging and pushing the thinking of them.
  • To push the team progress forward, anticipate roadblocks and give recommendation on the best way to overcome them.
  • To perform end-to-end Project Management functions (i.e. initiation, implementation monitoring & control, etc.)


Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, and Master Degree would be beneficial
  • Excellent project management experience demonstrated through working experience.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of telecommunication industry and operation.
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Fluent in English verbal and written.




Account Manager - Sales Enterprise (AM)
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Sales Manager (for Banking & Financial accounts), you are responsible to: 
  • Achieving revenue of corporate sales target by developing effective sales strategy 
  • Maintaining relationship with current customers and their recurring revenue by developing effective account strategy 
  • Exploring customer needs and developing the solution 
  • Developing and maintaining re-seller and partner


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline, preferably from Telecommunication Engineering 
  • Minimim 1 year experience in sales field or has passion in sales 
  • Knowledge of GSM and Non GSM products 
  • Understanding of Sales strategy and Account Management 
  • Excellent communication and sales presentation skills 
  • Possess customer orientation perspective
