WEB DESIGNER - IT DIVISION
Description: Responsible for user interface (UI) design, content development and maintenance of website and browser based online trading applications. Designer will work with the latest web technologies for browser, mobile, and tablet devices
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
* UI Development. Develop UI design and graphical objects that promote ease of use and access to the widest number of users and browsers
* Content Development. Create the necessary web objects using the latest web technologies including Cascading Style Sheets, AJAX, or others as required
* Content Management. Develop a system for the proper organization and maintenance of website content across all business divisions
* Customer Service. Treat all internal departments as a customer
SKILLS REQUIRED :
* Minimum 5 years of web design and website development experience
* IT training including database (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle), CSS, HTML, Adobe Illustrator
* Website management experience including: WordPress, Drupal, PHP, IIS, Apache/Tomcat
* Experience with JQuery CSS framework, ExtJS, AJAX and linux a plus
PERFORMANCE METRICS :
* Timely delivery of projects as agreed in meeting
* Stability of code as defined by number of programming errors identified after project is released into production
* Usability of website as determined by customer feedback and number of total users
* Helpfulness and accessibility as determined by customer feedback from internal departments
12 m contract position with potential to move to permanent position after successful evaluation
SENIOR FINANCIAL & CREDIT RISK OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Senior Financial and Credit Risk Officer will work with the Finance, Operations, Investment Banking, and Information Technology (IT) teams on various initiatives including Risk & Control Self-Assessment, Audit, Information Security, Continuity of Business and various project initiatives including:
* Applying best practices for Risk Identification and Mitigation in Systems in the company.
* Execution of the Standard Operating Procedure for Margin Lending.
* Development and implementation of Credit Policies for Margin clients.
* Guide Finance and IT teams with ongoing business monitoring deliverables, annual reviews and risk team readiness.
* Monitoring of the clients for suspicious or risk bearing activities.
* Testing, analyzing and reporting key metrics and test results to confirm compliance with the organization's key risks and controls
* Interfacing with senior partners on identification, assessment and analysis of key risks
* Validation, assessment and trending of key metrics for reporting to senior managing partner.
QUALIFICATIONS :
* Bachelor Degree
* Experience in Accounting/Finance shall be a plus
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Risk manager in Brokerage or Banking Financial Institution.
SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS :
* WPPE license shall be a Plus
* BSMR certificate shall be a Plus
* Background in audit, operational risk or credit risk would be particularly helpful.
* Ability to assess credit policy, its application and implications, with respect to risk and controls in the risk management organization.
* Analytical skills to synthesize, validate and analyze metrics and develop trends for senior reporting.
* Technical abilities to develop reports and presentations.
* Good interpersonal skills to work with various staff and management levels globally throughout risk.
* Organizational skills to manage various projects and timelines
* Proficient verbal and written English language skills
