The Position:
- Identify, develop and execute engineering, fabrication and construction projects in the O&G sector throughout Indonesia and the S-E Asia region.
- Initiate, foster and expand business relationships with existing and new O&G clients identified by the Company.
- Provide input for the long-term business development of various O&G projects to ensure the profitable future growth of the business unit.
- Identify key targets and customers and develop sales plans that support increased sales from targeted prospects by utilizing available resources.
- Ensure professional sales coordination and key account planning.
- Provides mentoring, coaching, functional guidance, advice and training to the Business Development team.
- Monitors project plans and schedules from inception to implementation, ensuring completion within project guidelines.
- Directs project team meetings with all key internal stakeholders and external clients to successfully address all project issues, direction and implementation strategies, facilitates problem solving and decision making through influence.
- A strong knowledge of the bidding life cycle and its individual phases, including the knowledge to respond to: Solicitations of Interest, Pre-Qualification requests: Requests for Proposals / Invitations to Tender.
- A strong knowledge of how to establish the Company s Estimation, Procurement, Contracts, Project Control functions and Commercial needs.
- Age nominally 45-55 years (exceptional older/younger candidates will be considered).
- Expatriate, Regional or National.
- Preferably tertiary qualified, although an exemplary and proven hands-on practical background and previous experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience in a similar role, S-E Asia region experience highly desirable/essential.
- Minimum 15 to 20 years experience in O & G Industry.
- Offshore and/or Onshore (jackets, topsides. piping, mechanical, terminal, storage tanks, pipelines).
- Strong Leadership, Communication and Negotiating Skills, and ability to inspire and motivate subordinates.
- Excellent Customer Relations and Business Development Skills.
- Strategic thinker, highly motivated and energetic approach to the required role
- Strong operational skills, extensive knowledge associated with all knowledge of integrated Supply Chain and Logistics disciplines
- A strong knowledge of the bidding life cycle and its individual phases, including the knowledge to respond to: Solicitations of Interest, Pre-Qualification requests, Requests for Proposals, Invitations to Tender.
- A strong knowledge of requirements. systems, business plans and procedures to contribute to the establishment and growth of Company s Estimating, Procurement & Supply Chain Systems and management, Logistics, Contracts, Project Control and Services, QA/QC and HSE functions as necessary for the O & G business sector.
