Business Development Manager for IT Storage (SAN/NAS)
Location: Jakarta
Principal Responsibilities (Inclusive but Not Exhaustive)
Sales of Storage Business to achieve business plan by yearly revenue for the line of business (LOB) in focus
- Lead workshop events and Proof of Concept's. Storage products to Enterprise sales, management and partners
- Participate in demand generation activities, such as, customer's visits, conducting workshops, speak in events, be a consultant during blitz days, etc
- Assists in formulating the customer's long-term strategic vision and the role Company plays as a strategic partner - conduct technology or strategic IT planning forums
- Device and implement new approaches to sell Storage products
- Sought out internally and externally for thought leadership related to Company enterprise Storage products and services
- Involved in strategic planning of new commercial initiatives for area of focus
- Be a high level Technology to Business Solutions advisor to the sales force and customers at large in the area of focus
- Involved, manage, lead in QBR with management internally and with partners'
- Self development in area of relevant technologies and commercial application of these technologies
- Conducting update briefings / trainings to sales communities in the area of focus
- Grow and groom the in country storage partners to be able to sell and support storage products.
- Possess boardroom and executive presence, able to white board storage solution to address customer pain points.
- Able to operate and thrive in pressured and ambiguous situation
- Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Company enterprise storage products and services
- Able to solve complex business issues arising from project based engagements
- Independent but able to work in team, supporting and collaborating the in country Enterprise Business Manager (System Consultant)
- Leader in his / her own right in area of focus
- Create superior relationships with customer's senior level executives and influential people to sustain a long term relationship
