PEC-Tech (EPC Company - Riau - Sumatra) - Forestry / Pulp & Paper Transport Operational Manager
PEC-Tech is a regional development and turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company servicing the Energy and infrastructure sectors in Asia. Currently, PEC-Tech has fastly grown its services division on crane, heavy equipment, logging transport, material handling workshop and heavy lifting services. The head office is located in Singapore with offices in Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Brazil and Hongkong. Our rpid expansion has led to the following new position available in Riau - Sumatra - Indonesia. We are looking for highly motivated professionals to fill in the positions below :Forestry Operational Manager
Responsibilities :
- Responsible to prepare annual action plan and annual budget
- To plan harvesting activities to achieve Company targets on a daily, monthly and annual basics
- To source and allocate resources required to meet production targets for felling, debarking, extraction, loading and transport activities. This includes but is not exclusive to manpower, heavy equipment and supporting utilities
- Manage all harvesting activities according to Company standard operating procedures, including the timely handover of compartments for plantation
- To monitor all operational and overhead costs and ensure that budget rates are achieved in all areas
Responsibilities :
- To manage in a cost effective manner the business activities of a large fleet of trucks including road trains
- To manage the business activities of a large road transport fleet of trucks and road trains
- To cost, administer and control all outgoing expenses of transport system
- To understand and evaluate the day today operational activities
- To evaluate cost effectiveness of fleet to ensure lower cost and make repetition to management on sysetms, fleet types to continually improve productivity and lower cost
General Requirements :
Male, 28 - 45 years old. Degree / Diploma with related background educational. Min. 8 years of experience at the same position. Computer literate and its related software. Familiar with related and international materials systems, codes and standards for port and warehouse operation. Good communication in English and Mandarin
