Celebrity Fitness is one of Asia's largest health and fitness club operators, by number of clubs and members. Celebrity Fitness currently has 27 clubs in 3 different countries, and operates three different gym brands: Celebrity Fitness, Celebrity Fitness Express, and Celebrity Fitness VIP. Every Celebrity Fitness club offers tailored personal training, yoga, and aerobic fitness programs for its members.
Celebrity Fitness was founded in 2003 by 24 Fitness America veterans: John Franklin, Mike Anderson and John J Sweeney. Their first employee was local Indonesian Hendra Nugraha, now a member of the senior management team. Celebrity commenced operations in February 2004 with the opening of Jakarta's groundbreaking EX club.
The ‘Celebrity’ name was chosen specifically to convey that each Celebrity Fitness club member is a celebrity in their own right; can have their own personal trainer just like film star celebrities; and can work-out in environments inspired by the bars, nightclubs and celeb hangouts of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Miami Beach.Celebrity Fitness pioneered the concept of a fitness center with an entertainment ambiance. Many of Celebrity Fitness club members join not only to exercise; also to make friends, join classes, relax and chill out in vibrant club lounges and salons.
Celebrity Fitness clubs are generally located within shopping malls so that members, after working out, can conveniently shop, dine, pick up their groceries, or go to the cinema. 1. Training Manager
Below are some of the minimum qualifications we need, to ensure you hit the ground running:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or in any related field
- 4 year-experience in designing and implementing workforce and leadership training programs preferably in the service/retail industry;
- Willing and able to travel
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
2. Instructors for the next group Pilates Trainer
- Committed, team players with experience in fitness preferably in Personal Training/Physiotherapy
- Able to converse in English
3. Senior Pilates Instructors
- International Certification in Pilates all apparatus. (STOTT, Polestar, Basi etc)
- 2 yrs experience and /or 300 hours teaching experience
- Able to work with all apparatus especially mat, reformer and tower.
- Experience in Small apparatus is an advantage
- Preferably able to converse in English
