Senior Database/ Programmer

Deadline: 17 October 2012

Required Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent experience


• 5 or more years of experience providing database administration network support


• 5 + years' experience managing MS SQL 2000/2005/2008 RDBMS, SSIS, Reporting Services and other SQL Server related services from a Production Support level


• 5+ years' experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools


• 5+ years experience in programming using java related technologies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server , performance tuning, and SQL query optimization


• Advanced experience using Microsoft Transaction Replication


• Advanced experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security


• Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including senior management, IT, and end-users


• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment


• Ability to work independently on Database Projects

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years enterprise/systems software development, including extensive experiences in Web-based implementations using Java and related technologies. Familiarity with JEE, Servlets, EJB, Weblogic, XML,etc
