The company vision is to be the leading E & P independent in the region.Mitra recognises that local representation is essential in building and maintaining partnerships in the region and, to this end, Mitra has established country offices in Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City with representations in Manila, Singapore and Bangkok. The regional office in Kuala Lumpur identifies new venture opportunities and provides technical and managerial support to the assets. Mitra Energy Limited (Mitra) is the Operator of 4 offshore PSC s in Indonesia. Due to an expansion in activities, Mitra has a need to fill the following staff vacancies:
1. Junior Accountant (MEL11 – JA)
Female, the candidate should hold an S1 level degree, or higher, in Economics or Accountancy, and have a minimum of 2 - 3 years working experience in the Finance and Accounting field. The Junior Accountant reports to the Chief Accountant and assists with the accounts receivable and payable function, maintaining petty cash, banking activities and preparing monthly tax reports.
The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English and be computer literate with the Microsoft Office software suite and specialist accounting software like OGWIN or SUN Accounting system.
2. Senior Budget & Reporting Coordinator (MEL11 – BR)
Female, the candidate should hold an S1 level degree, or higher, in Economics or Accountancy, and have a minimum of 10 years working experience in the Accounting Department of an Indonesian PSC contractor reporting to BPMIGAS. The Senior Budget & Reporting Coordinator reports to the Finance Controller and is responsible for 1) preparing the PSC s annual work programme & budgets along with submission to .BPMIGAS, Mitra management and partners, 2) monitoring the budget and actual expenditures variance, 3) tracking project costs, 4) preparing and submitting AFE s for partner/BPMIGAS approval along with the close-out AFE reporting to BPMIGAS, and 5) maintaining the Asset Management system.
The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English and be computer literate with the Microsoft Office software suite and specialized accounting software like OGWIN or SUN Accounting system.
