WELLSITE GEOLOGIST

Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Exploration Manager at the Jakarta office, the incumbent will be required to communicate relevant information, deciding when specialized tests are required and ultimately when to start and stop drilling.

• Acting as the representative of the Company, to supervise service companies, mudlogging, FEMWD and wireline services personnel.
• Drilling cutting description.
• Collate and interpret data at wellsite
• Hydrocarbon show evaluation
• Core point, casing point and total depth selection

• MDT/RCI low shock sampling
• Quick look petrophysical evaluation

Bachelor of Science in Geology, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, and Reservoir Engineering. Must have at least 5 years relevant experience. The Wellsite Geologist will be based at the wellsite when drilling commences.

Requirements:

- Able to process rainfall data and apply them in planning mine production and civil construction
- Understanding the basics of exploration and able to conduct geological model of quality assessment
- Ability to create jobs or progress reports in Indonesian and English
- Has the ability to read and understand work contracts with third parties

Requirements

- Have work experience in the field of open pit mine planning at least 7 years
- Able to communicate orally and in writing in Indonesian and English Discuss
